Smugglers Rock House

Smugglers Rock House is a spacious, self catering property ideal for families, couples and groups. Sleeping up to 14 people in 7 en-suite bedrooms (5 doubles {one also has a single bed, making a family room}, one single (all these rooms are on the first floor) and one twin (2nd floor)

The lounge has comfortable leather sofas and seating for 14 people, and a 55" smart TV. It has twin aspect windows and beautiful views down the coast

The new kitchen/diner is a bright, airy room and has a lovely range cooker with induction hob and all the other 'mod cons' you could need.  There is also a breakfast bar. The views from the newly installed double French doors are amazing and on a nice day you can take your coffee (or meal) outside to the patio area which has outdoor seating and a dining area.

• Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, under counter fridge and separate freezer, (there is another fridge freezer in the hall) microwave, Nespresso pod machine, kettle and toaster

• Dining table for 14 in the kitchen/diner with French doors leading to the patio

• Beautiful gated patio area at the front of the house with seating and dining space

• Weber charcoal BBQ on the patio

• Parking for up to 6 cars in our car park 

• Lockable bike shed for 4-5 bikes, outbuilding with anchor lock for 3-4 bikes, and an outdoor storage rack for up to 5 bikes (bikes must not be taken into the house)

• Two electric car charging points (type 2) charged at cost. Check availability before pre-booking. Own charging lead required

• The house is 'green', with hot water and electricity provided via solar panels, and heating provided by a wood pellet biomass boiler. Blue bins are provided in the car park for clean recyclable items

• Private key code entrance hallway 

• All rooms are en-suite with shower cubicles and toiletries

• Beds made up for arrival, and towels and hairdryers are provided

• Welcome pack usually consisting of local cakes and biscuits, jam, Yorkshire Tea, Shloer, coffee, eggs and milk, together with a starter supply of coffee pods

• One travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be provided on request (own bedding required)

• Sorry the house is not suitable for pets

• Totally non smoking 

• We do not have a downstairs toilet (each room is en-suite)

• No hen or stag parties (please see booking conditions)
